Second Amendment

Anna strongly supports the Second Amendment. As the U.S. Supreme Court recently held in District of Columbia v. Heller, the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms extends to the individual, not just to the “militia”. Anna will vigorously work to protect this fundamental right.

Law-abiding and mentally stable citizens should be allowed to legally own firearms to protect their families and property. The State of Texas Castle Law Doctrine should be emulated in New Jersey.
